MEDIA Use AND MEDIA MULTITASKING HABITS OF STUDENTS AND TEACHING STAFF OF THE UNIVERSITY OF AVEIRO

THE PROJECT


In an era where digital media and technologies are permeating all levels of education and technological research agendas not only acknowledge but foster further developments, it is important to understand how the actors in the educational arena currently consume media, to not only optimize its use in a learning environment, but also direct the adoption of new media types for teaching purposes.

This research project aims to develop, implement and assess a media use / media multitasking questionnaire in order to identify and understand the media use and multitasking habits of academic staff and student population of the University of Aveiro.

QUESTIONNAIRE



This study is being conducted in the scope of a PhD research project in Multimedia in Education, theaim of which is to gather data on the habits of media use and media multitasking of students and teachers.

The completion of the questionnaire will take approximately 10 minutes.

The answers to this questionnaire are anonymous and the data will be collected only for the purpose of this study.

As an incentive for participating, respondents are invited to enter a draw to win a 25€ voucher.
